IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR ALL STUDENTS
----------
Cross-Registration Deadlines for Spring 2006Spring is just around the corner, which means we will soon be registering for a new set of classes. If you are considering taking a course at another Harvard school, take a moment to look at the cross-registration petition deadlines at https://crossreg.harvard.edu/OASIS/CrossReg/xreg_calendar.jsp. It’s a good idea to start thinking about this before you check out for the winter break, because some of the deadlines and first days of class come up quickly in January. For information on the cross-registration process, please go to: https://crossreg.harvard.edu/OASIS/CrossReg/index.html.

Hurricane Katrina Book DrivePlease support our HURRICANE KATRINA BOOK DRIVE
Sponsored by SGAThe HGSE Student Government Association invites you to donate new or gently used books to Books From the Heart® Book Drive. Visit the pole in the middle of Conroy Commons to pick up a book title and purchase that book to donate. Or, choose your own title to donate. You may drop books in our drop box in Conroy Commons or in Gutman Lobby through December 21, 2005.
Books from the Heart finds books that are not being used and gets them to where they are needed most…into the hands of poor children and onto the empty shelves of school libraries. Books from the Heart is a program of the Heart of America Foundation, an organization that promotes character education, literacy, and service learning. The organization is a national, nonsectarian, non-partisan, nonprofit, humanitarian organization. Books from the Heart has recently launched a special program, Operation Buddy Pack, to provide books to children displaced by Hurricane Katrina and to fill libraries in hurricane-afflicted areas. Contact SGA with any additional questions: sga@gse.harvard.edu
